Editorial policy
Creative People Guide aims to make creative methods understandable, specific and honest about their limits. We explain what a suggestion can help with, rather than claiming that one process works for everyone.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against appropriate sources and revise wording that could leave a reader with the wrong impression. We separate established background from interpretation and practical suggestions. When a topic is subjective, we say so; when a method depends on materials or context, we make that visible.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made for relevance to readers, not as a promise of favourable coverage. Paid or partner-supported material is clearly labelled where it appears, and commercial relationships do not turn an editorial recommendation into an independent review.
Corrections
If you spot an error, use the Contact page and describe the article and passage, along with any useful supporting detail. We assess correction requests and update material when warranted, making a note of significant changes where appropriate.
Images and illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with AI. We identify such images where relevant and do not treat an illustration as evidence that a depicted event, object or process is real.

Creative work is not a mysterious event. It is a series of choices you can try, inspect and adjust.
